Brandy Clark

I keep waiting like I always do by the lonely and boring hotel lobby

I keep waiting for the elevator that brings me to floor 2

Once I’m finally in this slow elevator

I can’t help myself but push onto the buttons in hurry

I just can’t wait to see you

Everything is blurry

But when I’m about to see you

I’ll be in hurry

Knocking on your door

with butterflies in my stomach

I am at floor 2
